Hello Everyone,  I'll start off by saying it has been a crazy week, and a good one.   I love this area. There are a lot of great things going on here, and there is room to improve and elevate. This week I feel that we just started going for it, and I love it! baptized My new Comp it Elder White, and we have been having a great week. The second day I was here we were just running around from lesson to lesson with Missionaries have meet with before in the past. The first person. We had a lesson with loves Missionaries and has met with them since 2020. The last lesson Missionaries had with her asked her to pray about baptism. We taught her the Restoration again, and at the end we asked if she has prayed about baptism. She told us that she already wanted to be Baptized. I was so excited. She told us that she had some stuff going on at the moment and would be able to do it soon, we asked if she would be Baptized on December 17th, and she said yes! I'm a little sad that ...

Hello Everyone,  Good Afternoon everyone! It has been a good week, and honestly I forgot what has happened this week so give me a second.  While we are waiting on my memory to kick in, I have news! I am headed off to my new area. Dacula 1st & Grayson here I come. I am excited and look forward to a new adventure. I am going to miss a lot of members in this area.  Looking back I know ow that there where a lot of challenges, but there are also a lot of good memories. Working with Members can be a challenge sometimes, but it is so worth it. I love the people in this area, and I just want them to be happy. I'm feel that I don't know what to say. I don't like saying good bad, I'm also very bad at it. While I have been here I have learned a lot and I feel that I have made a great effort to grow closer to Christ. I definitely could not have made it these past few months without Him. And I know that I have a lot learn and a lot more that I need to do. I'm going to mi...

This is the 192th weekly email! October 3, 2022

Hello Everyone!   Confession this is not the 192th email of mine, but it was a cool title.  This week has been great, I loved General Conference and I hope that you guys got something out of it.  Having General conference already mentioned I guess I'll start by telling about that. For the first session of General Conference, we got the district together at the church and watched it together. Then we went to go do some finding afterwards, and then back to Conference. On the Mission, General Conference is a Holiday, and like all Holiday it goes by too quickly. For the Sunday morning session we went over to the mission home to have brunch with President, and Sister Harris. It was wonderful spending time with them and another district as we ate and talked. And then we watch conference with them, which is on a higher level than food, and socializing. I remember feeling the spirit strongly as I focused in on what speakers were talking about.  After General...

Do you remember the 21st night of September? In 1823 September 26, 2022

Hello Everyone!  I hope y'all had a a good week. And I hope that this week will be even better for you!  This past week was pretty good. We had Zone Conference on Wednesday, and that was a great. What out Missionaries President talked about and what was at the conference I felt that it perfect applied to what I was going through and that I was getting the answers to the questions I had. I am amazed of how he does it with such love and energy for me and all the Missionaries in the Mission. It was also lovely to hear the testimonies of President Harris and Sister Harris. It is amazing how highly they speak of each other and show their love for each other, and they extend their love to us. It is an example of how our Heavenly Parents are.  We had a nice P-day (last week). I have discover that I have the ability to throw three Frisbees at once. We had a nice game of catch the Frisbees that I throw.  The most part of the week was slow, trying to...

HARK, ALL YE NATIONS Verse 3,4!

Image
Hello Everyone!  It has been a great week with some of my favorite experiences on the mission, but before I tell you that I would like to address the title above.  Some of you may be saying to yourself there is no 4 verse to the Hymn HARK, all ye Nations. You know what I say to that is that your right, at least for now. The Church is coming out with new copies of the Hymn books. When? You ask, I don't know I'm not the church, but I do know that the old 3rd verse of the Hymn above will become the 4th verse and we will get a new 3rd verse. Know you ask, how do I know this? Elder Renlund told our mission. Which leads me to tell you about my week.  This was a secret that I have kept for a while. Elder Renlund one of the 12 Apostles, visited our mission and we were able to have a meeting with him. It was amazing! We got to shake his hand. Our mission got one big picture with everyone it it.  As great as those moments were, the best part is when he started to...

It's a short one! September 12, 2022

Hello Everyone!  First off. Sorry it is so late. I have a perfectly good excuse. I was busy with some fun stuff. What was I doing you might ask? Y'all will find out in 3 or more weeks. Don't let me forget.  Let see what did happen this week. We had a our interviews with President, and that was amazing as always. Thus time they felt far too short. I felt like I had a million more questions to ask him. I just wish I could talk to him all day but neither one of us have the time for that. We had a great conversation with him, and I learned a little bit more about his testimony and how he describes. I can't quite explain it. But it is great.  We had a lot more member meals this week which was great, and we even had two dinner where we got stake. Love a good stake. Love being able to talk to members they are some wonderful people here. I have said it before and you will hear me say it again.   We have been working with some members to share the Gospel with thei...

Hello All ye fair people,  (That is all of you by the way! )   Let me see what happened this past week. Well for starters, I got my new Companion! His name is Elder Ericksen, and he originally from Alaska! He is a great Missionary and a very smart guy.  Moving on to the week we had! Honestly I don't think we had too many things happen this week. We spent a lot of time trying to get in contact with our friends. That was crazy because we spent a lot of time texting people, and then we spent even more time stopping by hoping that we can catch them at the right time. For a few we were blessed with God's timing and stopped by at the right time to talk to them. For one of our friends we were able to teach her on her doorstep about the Plan of Salvation. It was a good lesson.  Late one night we were going about our missionary  work, we go up the stairs and there are two people coming down the other stairs and they start to talk to us about their Bible study ...
