New Comp, new areas, new week! October 17, 2022

 Hello Everyone,

I'll start off by saying it has been a crazy week, and a good one.

I love this area. There are a lot of great things going on here, and there is room to improve and elevate. This week I feel that we just started going for it, and I love it! baptized

My new Comp it Elder White, and we have been having a great week. The second day I was here we were just running around from lesson to lesson with Missionaries have meet with before in the past. The first person. We had a lesson with loves Missionaries and has met with them since 2020. The last lesson Missionaries had with her asked her to pray about baptism. We taught her the Restoration again, and at the end we asked if she has prayed about baptism. She told us that she already wanted to be Baptized. I was so excited. She told us that she had some stuff going on at the moment and would be able to do it soon, we asked if she would be Baptized on December 17th, and she said yes! I'm a little sad that it is far out their but I'm so glad that she wants to be Baptized. She has a great desire to learn, and goes to church almost every week.

Latter that same day we met with a recent convert who just moved into the ward. We had a great time getting to know her and her story. She is awesome! We she talked about how she wants to learn more about the scriptures, and so as a response we showed her a video. This video is one that I hope y'all have seen. We showed her the end part of when Christ visits the people in ancient American. While the video was playing I could she that she shed a tear or two while the people felt the prints in Christ's hand and feet. No matter who I'm teaching I love about the Savior and His love for everyone. There is always a special peace when we can share teach about the Savior.

We also met with another recent convert, and his daughter who is also a member. They are some wonderful people, and the daughter wants to learn so much about the church. We taught about Patriarchal blessing and I loved talking about it because it caused ne to reflect on my own, and what a blessing it is. I live teaching g lesson that are past the first three lesson.

There were so many things that happened this week, but like always I don't have the time.

I love the peace and joy that come from prayers. I never realized how much I would rely on them. Praying every day, of course, but finding those moment that I can direct my thoughts and heart to Him. Pray is something that heals the soul. I love being in the service of my fellow beings. I know that that is where we can find joy no matter where we are in life. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

I am grateful for the sun what can I say.
Say hello to Elder White
And say goodbye to Elder Ericksen, miss him.

Until next week, love Y'all stay safe.
