Do you remember the 21st night of September? In 1823 September 26, 2022

 Hello Everyone! 

I hope y'all had a a good week. And I hope that this week will be even better for you! 

This past week was pretty good. We had Zone Conference on Wednesday, and that was a great. What out Missionaries President talked about and what was at the conference I felt that it perfect applied to what I was going through and that I was getting the answers to the questions I had. I am amazed of how he does it with such love and energy for me and all the Missionaries in the Mission. It was also lovely to hear the testimonies of President Harris and Sister Harris. It is amazing how highly they speak of each other and show their love for each other, and they extend their love to us. It is an example of how our Heavenly Parents are. 

We had a nice P-day (last week). I have discover that I have the ability to throw three Frisbees at once. We had a nice game of catch the Frisbees that I throw. 

The most part of the week was slow, trying to get on contact with our friends, and working with members. 

We were able to have a lesson with a returning member. Remember the friend that bashed us a little while ago. Yeah it the same person, but this lesson was great. I still love him, and we were able to have a member there witch made it even better. We taught the restoration, and there was a moment that I thought that we were going to get bashed but we didn't. We just kept going with the lesson. By the end of it he agreed to read and Pray about the Book of Mormon. It was great! Something that was a miracle was achieving the member there in the first place. 

Two night before we had the lessons we met with them member in his home because they had us over for dinner. We had just finished with Zone Conference and wanted to apply what we learned. We share our message with the member and his family about how to do missionaries work. We gave them a list of examples of what they could do. The young man surprised me by saying how he could hand out a Book of Mormon. Awesome to hear that, and as we were talking about it the Dad mentioned how he wanted to help out with more part member families and how he was assigned to minister to the friend mentioned above. We invited him to come to our lesson and he was able to make it! 

This past week I was able to study and reflect on the Book of Mormon and what it means to me. I remember the 21st night of September, in 1823. The night that Joseph was told about the record that would change his life and my life. There is peace in reading in it's pages. I am fascinated by the stories and learning more about it. The teaching that I learn about this life and about Jesus is something that keeps me going. I say these things  in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
