HARK, ALL YE NATIONS Verse 3,4!

 Hello Everyone!

It has been a great week with some of my favorite experiences on the mission, but before I tell you that I would like to address the title above.

Some of you may be saying to yourself there is no 4 verse to the Hymn HARK, all ye Nations. You know what I say to that is that your right, at least for now. The Church is coming out with new copies of the Hymn books. When? You ask, I don't know I'm not the church, but I do know that the old 3rd verse of the Hymn above will become the 4th verse and we will get a new 3rd verse. Know you ask, how do I know this? Elder Renlund told our mission. Which leads me to tell you about my week.

This was a secret that I have kept for a while. Elder Renlund one of the 12 Apostles, visited our mission and we were able to have a meeting with him. It was amazing! We got to shake his hand. Our mission got one big picture with everyone it it.

As great as those moments were, the best part is when he started to address us and teach us. We gathered in the chapel where he taught us, and I didn't realize how funny he is. The message that he and his grew shared messages that were meant for me. It was an amazing experience where I learned a lot, and there is too much to be able to share with you at this time. Something that I gained out of it was how much I know that he has been called of God to be an Apostle. His wisdom in answering our questions, but also exhorting us to study and find the answers ourselves. To help us he told us where in the scriptures we could find the answers, he also told us exactly where we could look in Gospel Library app. I'm convinced that Elder Renlund has the Scriptures and the Gospel Library app memorized. At the end he left us with his testimony, and it was so pure and sweet. It felt like the while world was reverent. He knows that Christ lives and that Christ is his friend. I know the same and Christ loves us all!

Meeting with Elder Renlund was at the end of the week, but at the Beginning we had another amazing experience. We were able to go to the Temple as a Zone. I love going to the Temple, and this time was very special to me. President Harris and Sister Harris joined us. It was amazing being there with them. I remember the joy of going to the Temple and the joy continued as I went through. The Temple is a place of learning, and this time I was impressed by the Holy Ghost about the importance of scriptures. I started to have a deep appreciation and love for them, and they mean to me. The scriptures are how we learn of God's Truth, and from there we are able to feel comfort and peace in this life as we study and apply the scriptures to out lives. I very much needed to go to the Temple, and I'm grateful that we were able to do that. After we did a session in the Temple President Harris brought all of us into the Sealing room, and taught us even more. There was a peace and love in that room and he told us how this is the goal for everyone we are teaching. To have them come and be sealed to their families for all Eternity. He also told us that this is where we need to me in the future. Once more so much learned, and I don't have the ability to share it all at this time. It is a good thing g we have all of Eternity.

We didn't have too many lessons with people this past week, but we did have two. These lessons were with wonderful people that I love, and I hope they love us back. The lessons were lengthy and deep discussion about what we believe, and we went back and forth on a lot of topics. And in the end it come down for both of them to read and Pray about the Book of Mormon. After knowing the Book of Mormon is true God is able to open His knowledge to us and we can know the truth and learn so many things. At the end of these lessons we left we love for one another, and I hope that both of them truly read and Pray about the Book of Mormon.

Saturday was a fun day. We planned to meet with someone who asked for some us to help her move. We got the other Elders and Sisters involved and went to go help out. We planned on being there for only an hour, but we knew we have to stay longer because we needed to help out more. We helped her several hours, and she was kind enough to get us lunch. We were able to talk to her and get to know her, because I now of us knew who she was before Saturday. She is an amazing person, and she connected well with the sisters, which was awesome. She told us how she needs more help to fi is getting moved in and getting bed set up. We were able to ask a member and his son to help us finish that night, it was awesome serve someone and by he end of the night she told us how she wanted us to come back, and that we could share a message with her and that she was a seeker. It was a great day and I'll admit I was tired by the end of the day. Funny thing about Georgia is that I wasn't gasping for air, but all my muscles were sore. I guess more air helps out.

Like I have said before. It has been a great week and I have learned a lot. Still what I knew before has not changed. I still know the church is true. I still know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I still know that God loves us all and is aware of us. I still know that Jesus Christ lives, and because He live we can be made whole again. The knowledge that I have received this past week has deepened my understanding and my love for God. It has allowed me to strengthen my testimony of Jesus Christ, and because of that I can stand strong on The Rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the son of God. Standing strong doesn't mean I'm perfect, or that I never have a bad moment, or a bad day. Standing strong g means that I can eventually overcome storms of this life. I know I can do this because of Jesus Christ, and I say these things in the name of my friend, even Jesus Christ Amen.
