Hello Everyone,  This week had been wonderful. Sorry I didn't write sooner, I just didn't know what to say. So I'll say what every comes to mind first. I hope I don't make a fool of myself.  This week was a good week and was like many others. This week however we had a lot more opportunities for service. Service always has had a special place in my heart and I'm grateful we got do some this week. My favorite service was dumpster diving. We were really just smashing a lot of garbage down so it could all fit. Fun times.  DC's have been great, I've been great, the mission is going great. I don't know if there is much else to say. But I Still will say more.   I still feel great joy as I am a servant in the Lord's Vineyard. There is no greater work out than than this work. I still feel the Joy and I know I also will. This Joy had give me greater happiness, greater strength, greater wisdom, and love for others. I know that the Book of Mormon is true beca...

The Joy of my heart ♥ October 9, 2023

Good Morning,  To the people of the west, and of the east, and of the north, and I can't forget the south, (Essentially it doesn't matter where you currently are in relation to the location of Georgia), this email is for you!  It had been a blessing to be a missionary this week. The reason why is the reason that has been given before. This is the Greatest work on earth today, and with this being the greatest work, it is also the greatest Joy. I truly know that I have been more joyful as I have been a missionary because I have been helping people grow closer to Jesus Christ. This is my joy and my song!  Just the other day we were knocking on on door trying to get in contact with one of our friends, when we apparently knocked on the wrong door. Rather than meeting our friend we found someone else there who didn't know who we were looking for. As we did what we do, we struck up a conversation. From that conversation we learned that her husband had passed away. In that...

I'm not dead yet! October 2, 2023

Hello Everyone,   So this week have been a Rollercoaster. I was feeling great at the beginning of the week, but then I went down on the Rollercoaster because I got sick. And I stayed that way for most of the week. Thanks to prayer blessings and my district I was able to go up the coater and get back on my feet for conference.  I loved General Conference and learned so much. Once again it was a holiday learning more of the Gospel. When I did get my voice back I felt so great because I could Proclaim the joy of Gospel. The joy I felt as I could get on my feet and teach about Prophets, is a joy I can't describe so I won't even try. I love this work I know it is true and that I couldn't do this own my own. He has been my support and my strength. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.   Sorry I don't feel that I have much else to say, but know that I am great and that this week will be better.   -Elder Robertson

Winder Zone, White Washing, Training. Again! September 25, 2023

Hello Everyone,  So I'm sure y'all are pondering where I have gone too. I am now in back in the Winder Zone, as DL while training a brand new missionary. A lot of this sounds familiar. Could it be that I just white washed, trained, and was in Winder. It could be. I'll admit that I haven't been in Winder for a while, but around this time last year is when I came to the Winder Zone.  I am so excited for this transfer! The mission has changed a lot because we got 30 new Missionaries! Due to this influx of Missionaries a lot of areas have been opened up and most people are single covering.  So I'm training again, and it's a blast! Elder Nickerson (My trainee) is fantastic. I love that he has a desire to be exactly obedient to the Missionaries Standards. It is a great reminder to me and it is inspiring. We have been working hard to get to know the ward and all of our friends. I love being a missionary what can I say.  I have been reading the story of Alma and Amule...

A wonderful Sunday September 18, 2023

Hello Y'all,  So I felt that I had a lot to write, but as soon as I started to write this my mind went blank. So please be patient with me as I try to put together a decent letter.  Why don't I start with the highlight of this week, Sunday! There were many reasons why Sunday was great. Maybe because we were busy all day. Maybe because we got to see a lot of members and eat a lot of good food. Those were all good parts, but the best was the spirit that was felt on that day. The place I felt it the strongest was for Juan's Baptism.  This Baptism felt like it came out of no where but it was great. The service was in Spanish, and even though I had been in Baptisms before I was lost. I had no idea what was going on. I didn't understand a word unless it was said it English. I did understand the spirit that I felt. I felt to Spirit powerfully and that I one more witness to meet that this work is true. If I can feel the Spirit so strong when I can't understand anything th...

Hello Everyone,  It had been a good week. I feel that a lot is same from last week. So now I'm just going to refer y'all to that and I'll end this weekly now.  -Elder Robertson   Love y'all hope you have a great week, and here are the pictures.   -temple Pictures morning and at night  -The Truett's Chick-fil-a Here is my actual weekly: This was a wonderful week with uplifting spiritual week. Why you might ask. Well every week is an uplifting experience when you are a missionary!! But to answer your pondering question - we had the Blessing of going to the temple not once but twice. It was wonderful!!!!  We got to go to the temple first with our Zone for an endowment session, and then we got to go later in the week for Amy's first time doing Baptisms for her ancestors. Both times were spiritual rewarding and needed. Both experiences were filled with learning by the Spirit and being able to build my faith. Amy had a wonderful experience a...

When it rains in Floods September 4, 2023

Hello Everyone,  This week has probably been one of the craziest that I have had on the mission. Please allow me to tell you of how my week started.   After getting a haircut from one of our members we headed down to Kennesaw to stay the night with the ZL's. We did this because all of us were going to go finding at the KSU campus. I say were because that is not what happened. As we were heading out the door we got a picture from a member in our ward. (Included down below) This picture showed that our apartment complex in Calhoun was flooded. That is when we realized that it was going to be a very different day than what we planned.  Elder Nehorai, and I left KSU campus to see what the damage was. Just to let you know we were 45 minutes away from our apartment. When we got there we saw that the entire parking lot was covered in dried up mud. The water did get into apartment and cover the first floor with a layer of mud. Thankful our study desks were fine and mo...
