A wonderful Sunday September 18, 2023
Hello Y'all,
So I felt that I had a lot to write, but as soon as I started to write this my mind went blank. So please be patient with me as I try to put together a decent letter.
Why don't I start with the highlight of this week, Sunday! There were many reasons why Sunday was great. Maybe because we were busy all day. Maybe because we got to see a lot of members and eat a lot of good food. Those were all good parts, but the best was the spirit that was felt on that day. The place I felt it the strongest was for Juan's Baptism.
This Baptism felt like it came out of no where but it was great. The service was in Spanish, and even though I had been in Baptisms before I was lost. I had no idea what was going on. I didn't understand a word unless it was said it English. I did understand the spirit that I felt. I felt to Spirit powerfully and that I one more witness to meet that this work is true. If I can feel the Spirit so strong when I can't understand anything that is being said then this work must be true. I know the Spirit was felt by others because they felt it too. It was a wonderful time and I'm so grateful for the wars members that have done to much to help Juan.
I also spoke on Sunday, and I was very grateful for that experience because I was able to see how much I have grown. I have become more confident and have gained greater passion for this Gospel. I loved being able to express that. I was also been able to connect my family History to the Gospel. What do I mean by that? It a long story. But if you would like to know then you can ask someone in my family why there are three wolf heads on our Robertson Crest. One, you know the story behind that you can read a couple scriptures about how Christ is the Good Shepherd. If you have done all that and you still don't know what I am talking about then you can message me, and then I'll try to articulate what I said on Sunday.
I would write more but that is what is one my mind and what I have time for. I'll know on Wednesday what my transfer news is, and then I'll tell you more.
I love The Good Shepherd, I know that He has watched over me and protected me. This time I love that I have a chance to gather his sheep. His sheep are very important to Him and they are important to me. For they are my family. I'll always help the Good Shepherd because He offered Himself as a sacrifice for me. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
Juan's Baptism with the Spanish Missionaries that taught him, and then we all had lunch.
