Driving, Finding, Temple September 11, 2023

It had been a good week. I feel that a lot is same from last week. So now I'm just going to refer y'all to that and I'll end this weekly now.

This was a wonderful week with uplifting spiritual week. Why you might ask. Well every week is an uplifting experience when you are a missionary!! But to answer your pondering question - we had the Blessing of going to the temple not once but twice. It was wonderful!!!! 

We got to go to the temple first with our Zone for an endowment session, and then we got to go later in the week for Amy's first time doing Baptisms for her ancestors. Both times were spiritual rewarding and needed. Both experiences were filled with learning by the Spirit and being able to build my faith. Amy had a wonderful experience as she was baptized for her Mother whom passed away. She could feel her Mother and she was brought to tears yet again by the Spirit. It was beautiful, and it was beautiful to see the temple at night for the first time.  

Before we went to the temple we taught Amy a lot about it being the House of the Lord. Temples have been on my mind most of the week and I have love to teach about these sacred places. On Sunday Amy gave a ride to one friends (Michelle). In the car Amy told her about how amazing the temple was and by the end of church Michelle was wanting to go inside the temple. We told her that we help people prepare spiritually to enter into the house of the lord, and one of the necessary preparations is being Baptized into Christ's church. We had a great conversation about that and I got to see how much she wants to go to the temple.  

Quick update on the flood and living situation. We are still living in Kennesaw, and making the trip everyday. That hasn't slowed us down. In fact, we have been so busy that it has been hard to find a return appointments. This week is so packed with lessons that it is crazy! I'm excited for it. 

I'm trying to think about what else happened this week, but I think it was simply Driving. Finding. Temple. I think that pretty much sums up this week. If you have any questions please let me know I have gotten a lot of experience answering questions.  

I loved going to the temple this week. I know that it is the House of the Lord and that the spirit is strong there. I know it because I have felt it. I have felt it in my mind, in my heart and with every filling of my Soul. I know that the work that is done there is a most sacred work. Allowing people to grow closer to God and His happiness through Covenants. I know that they get to experience that joy because I have experienced it. This work is true! The Book of Mormon is the Word of God. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
