Elder Taylor have you met Santa ? December 18, 2023

 Hello Everyone, 

And yes it is late and yes I am determined to finish this email before my P-day is over. 

This was a great week but I can only remember the last few days, so that is what y'all are going to get. If you want to hear about the other half of the week I'll need a couple more hours in my day. Until then I will continue on with the show.  

Yes I know what I said above but some how I ran out of time. I guess no one added more hours into my day. How unfortunate. 

Transfer news! Sadly I lost both of my Companions. One went to Peru, and the other to the other side of the zone. Joining me for this transfer will be Elder Taylor. He is fresh off the airplane all the way from North Pole Alaska. Yes that is right I got an elf companion for Christmas. He claims to have met Santa. He is awesome and I love that I have this opportunity to get to know him.  

As we knew that Elder Christensen was leaving we went to say goodbye to Tammy. In doing so we gave her gifts, and yes we did take the time to wrap them. We had a nice painting of the first vision and a copy of Come follow Me for 2024. We testified of the restoration and what it means to us. She has stared to read in it and we are  praying that she will keep reading. 

I love the Book of Mormon and the powerful message it contains. I have been trying to receive more personal revelation from the scriptures by pondering and writing down my impressions. As I have done so I have had the Holy Ghost testify to me that The Book of Mormon exposes the evil tactics of Satan. We learn of what he does to cause people to commit sin and forget God. The Book of Mormon has been given so that we can be warned of sin, and the snares of he who wants us to miserable. The Word of God has a powerful affect to lead people to do good. The Book of Mormon has lead me to do good. I know it is true and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
