When it rains in Floods September 4, 2023
Hello Everyone, This week has probably been one of the craziest that I have had on the mission. Please allow me to tell you of how my week started. After getting a haircut from one of our members we headed down to Kennesaw to stay the night with the ZL's. We did this because all of us were going to go finding at the KSU campus. I say were because that is not what happened. As we were heading out the door we got a picture from a member in our ward. (Included down below) This picture showed that our apartment complex in Calhoun was flooded. That is when we realized that it was going to be a very different day than what we planned. Elder Nehorai, and I left KSU campus to see what the damage was. Just to let you know we were 45 minutes away from our apartment. When we got there we saw that the entire parking lot was covered in dried up mud. The water did get into apartment and cover the first floor with a layer of mud.
