Diane's Baptism, and Lessons! July 24, 2023

 Dear Everyone,

I hope that y'all have had a great week because I haven't.
Just kidding, it was a great week and I'm so happy to tell y'all about it.

First thing is First, let me tell you about Diane. She was baptized this past week and it was amazing. We spent a lot of time making sure everything was prepared and that she was ready. We met with her everyday. I'm very grateful that it all worked out in the end because when I look back I see the hand of the Lord helping us and Diane. We couldn't have done it without His help. After she was confirmed a member she bore her testimony to the whole ward from the pulpit. I felt that her testimony about how the Gospel has helped her be happy, was helpful for another one of our friends who wants the same thing. Our other friend was there, and heard Diane's testimony about the Gospel. I love Diane and the blessings that come to all of us as we make and keep Covenants.

Now let me tell you of our friend Amy. We have been meeting with her for a couple of weeks. We met her because a member of another ward reached out to us to help Amy move into our area. This member also told us that Amy would be open to hearing messages, so next thing you know we are teaching Amy about the restoration and the Book of Mormon. Next thing I know, She  finished reading The first Book of Nephi! She is an amazing person who has loved coming to church and learning about the Gospel. Within a few short weeks we felt prompted to invite her to be Baptized and she said yes! We have a lot to teach, but I have faith that she we learn it all and be prepared for her first Covenant.

We have been busy this past week with teaching a lot of people. I'm grateful that we had a lot of lessons that happen, and they were great lessons.

We were able to teach Tony and his wife (Jone) several times this week. We had a great time getting to know them and reading the Book of Mormon with them. They have been reading it and liking what they have read. I'm grateful that we were to meet with them several times this week because there are going to be out of town this upcoming week. Thankfully they want to meet with us again after they get back.

I'm also grateful for the members in this ward and that they help us with Missionaries work. They take care of us and it makes me very happy!

My soul has been filled with joy as I have been in the Service of My God. There were many times were things lined up perfectly in the way that He needed them to be. It has built my testimony when I can see moments when I knew that I has being guided to do His Will. My soul delights in the Plainness of the Book of Mormon and how it has taught me of who my Redeemer is. I know that He lives and that He lives to bring all of us safely home. I know that the sacrament is a sacred time to learn and connect with Jesus Christ. I have done so, and I will continue to do so every Sunday of my life. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Most of these pictures are self explanatory, but some aren't. I trust y'all can figure out which is which.
