Come unto Christ July 10, 2023

Hola Como Estas,

That right there is the extent of my Spanish. It really comes in handy in this area. Just kidding.

It had been a great week and I feel that a lot has happened. A brief overview:

-Two exchanges

‐Zone P-day at the beginning on the week

-Zone Conference with President Judd

-Interviews with President Judd

-District Council

-conducted my first baptismal interview as a District Leader, he passed!

That last one may not seem like a whole lot, but when your a District Leader and still have no idea what you are doing then it's a big thing.

That having been said it was still a great District Council. In fact I think it was the best one so far. It feels like the District is coming together more and I Love that.

I went on Exchanges with the ZL'S, and that was fun. Their area is the KSU campus, and so they have permission to split up while finding people to teach. I got to do a little of this and it was weird being alone and talking to people my age. That is a place where we do our best to talk to everyone.

I learned a lot in Zone Conference. President Judd is different than President Harris but I still love them both. A lot of spiritual insights and laughter were there at Zone Conference with us. I learned how important it is to share our plans and goals with the members of the ward. We did that this Sunday and it was wonderful. People were excited because we were and they were telling us members that we should go and visit. It was a wonderful time. In ward council I gave the Spiritual Thought and at the end one of councilors in the bishop was asking where it was so he could assign a talk on it.

The thought as mentioned above:

While reading in the Preach My Gospel, it talked about how we come unto Christ. I never really gave it too much thought before. I simply thought that it meant as it says and didn't think about it too much. Then I read that we come unto Christ by Living His Doctrine. That blew my mind and every time I read Come unto Christ in the scriptures I see it as an invitation to live the Doctrine of Christ. Living the Doctrine of Christ allows Christ to make our weak things become strong.

I know that the Doctrine of Christ is true. It has changed my life forever and I will never go back to who I was. I'm on an upward course that leads to eternal peace. All because if the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His Gospel brings me joy in this life. I know it, and I will live it. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
