The price of a sunburn June 12, 2023

Hello all ye fair people on the Earth,

This week was similar to past weeks. If you have forgotten what my past weeks have looked like, then you are more than welcome to read my last email.

We had some fun last week as a Zone where we played some fun sports. My favorite was beach volleyball. The down side to having so much fun is forgetting to apply sunscreen. The back of my calves are paying the price of fun.

I have loved going around to members homes and sharing the new church video on simple ways to love, share, and invite. Those we have shared it with have loved the message it contains, and we have had wonderful discussions on their missionary efforts we haven't heard before. Because of that we have been able to say thank you to the wonderful members. Everyone needs some one to simply say thanks. I know the difference that it makes in someone's life because it has helped mine.

We also had a interesting conversation with some one who was insistent that the Book of Mormon was unnecessary. The sad part is that I know that it is  ( necessary) and how it can bless her life if she will open the Book. The whole conversation I felt that there was so much more for her. I will saw she is a very nice, and I loved talking to her.

I can even begin to describe the amount of joy and love I have for The Gospel. My time here has opened my eyes and my heart. If anyone wants to grow closer to Jesus, then they must serve someone else. It doesn't matter how capable someone is, they must simply commit to the savior and life will change for the better. I know it because I have seen in my life. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
