He is RISEN! April 10, 2023

 Happy Easter! 

It had been a great week but I can't even remember what happened thus past week, so this email will be different. 

Let's talk about Holy week! 

I loved studying about the last week of the Savior's mortal study. I never thought about what He did His last week with His friends and family, but I feel that I learned so much of who He is. 

On Passover Thursday I got home and felt impressed to read the four accounts of the Savior's last supper and experience in the garden in the Four Gospels. I felt so much love for Christ and what He has done for me, but the most important thing that I felt was the spirit bringing peace into my life. Jesus Christ has been calming the storms of my life and allowing be to be still in peace. 

That same night I read about how much the Savior was mocked and how lies were told about Him. Yet He never said a I'll word about any of His enemies. He Practiced what He preached. His enemies would cover His face and beat He. Then tell Christ to Prophesy of who had beaten Him. Jesus Christ suffered more than any one did and He endured it all for Us! His suffering on the cross He continued to be who He was, The Son of God! He loved and asked God to forgive those that drove the nails into His hands and feet. No matter what we do He always will love us and extend an arm of mercy. 

I must say I didn't fully understand what Easter was for. It is a time to remember Christ's infinite and Eternal Atonement. His Atonement blesses and reaches EVERY one in EVERY moment of our lives. Because of Him in a coming day pain, sickness and death will die. And we all live again just as He rise from the tomb and the Third day, so shall we all live again one day. I know that, and because I know that I have peace through all my storms, and I'm striving to have the faith to walk on the water to Christ! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
