☆General conference
There was so much love and spirit filled knowledge. I loved learning and hearing for God's Servants. One of the best things was that we watched it with members. Somethings that stood out to me was the importance of Easter and this holy week. I have always loved Easter but now I have learned so much more about this event in history and it means everything to me. I especially didn't know the importance of Palms Sunday and how this is was the Savior's last week of His mortal ministry. I strive to keep this week more holy. The last session of conference we went to a member house for dinner and then we watched General conference. Joining us for this wonderful time was a family of non-members who have come to church in the past. It was a great time getting to know them and seeing them like General Conference.
This last week I have had the pleasure of being Comps with Elder Winters. Elder Kartchner will be missed. I have loved spending time with Elder Winters for many reasons. One has been because he is awesome at talking to strangers. Anyone one he sees he just goes over talks to them. It been awesome and we have talked to so many wonderful people.
As my time as a missionary I have not used Facebook, but this last week Our mission brought it back. It has been an interesting experience especially since I never did any kind of social media before. Something that I loved is when I went to the Mission Facebook page and I could feel the spirt ad I saw so much uplifting content. I knew in the moment that this was a tool that Heavenly Father wants us to help others. I also felt the same when I saw other missionaries posting uplifting messages.
Also I guessed I turned 21 this past week. It doesn't feel that I am year older but I think I am wiser. I love my birthday spending time with my favorite people and having a great Bible study with so many of our friends there. It was a blessed and I'm grateful that it didn't feel like my birthday. I love the work and love being here in Georgia.
I loved this past week because I got to learn. Learning is a big part of thus world and the most important person we need to learn is about God. And as we learn of God we learn about ourselves. God's teaches us in so many different ways. One important way is through His prophet. I intend to learn as much as I can from President Nelson, and I invite you to do the same. I know that you will be blessed as you do so. I testify in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
Have a great week Y'all!
