Like a ladybug to the flame 🐞 🔥 January 16, 2023

 Hello Everyone!

It has been another good week! And I'm glad I get to tell y'all about it, but first let me explain the title.

For whatever reason we have a lot of ladybugs in our apartment. I have no idea why, and every time we put one outside or get rid of one, there are four more still in the apartment. While we are in our apartment the ladybugs will just spend their time flying into all of the ceiling lights. I don't understand it, I thought only moths did that. If anyone can tell why that is or any other fun facts about ladybugs, I would love to hear from you. Now on with the show.

So last P-day we had another Zone Olympics, and I'm glad to tell all of you that my team won, and the grand prize was a bag of candy! It was a fun time with the rest of the Zone.

The next day we once again were at the food drive. And y'all already know how much in enjoyed that. So I don't want to bore you by saying the same things over and over again. But I will say there is a lot to learn and to love with things being the same especially when they are good. I love constancy because I can continue to be better and to elevate. Trying to be one percent better than I was yesterday. And that is truly what enduring to the end and being a disciple of Christ.

We had a wonderful lesson with one of our recent Converts, and I loved that lesson because we talked about Elder Gong's talk, "We all have a story" I have loved this talk since the first time I heard it, and it meant so much more to me because I share and talked about it with others. I am grateful for the words of Modern Apostles to teach us and let us know the importance of families on both sides of the veil. There is great value in the stories that learn of and the ones that we live.

On Friday we had a full day! We taught everyone that we are teaching regularly had a lesson with on Friday. We were finally able to meet with one of our friends that we we haven't taught in a couple of months. We were worried that she wasn't interested. We taught the restoration and at the end we asked why she meets with us and why she comes to church. She told us how she was interested in the Book of Mormon. We were shocked and glad that she was meeting with us for the right reasons. It was a miracle!

From there we rushed to our next lesson, and it was wonderful because we got everyone in the family to join in on the lesson!

Grabbed a quick bite at the best fast food place ever! (🐔), then we rushed again to have the last lesson of the night with our friends that are getting baptized on the 28th! We teaching the commandments and then we started to talk about who they would want to do what. They both wanted members to be involved in this sacred moment of their lives. Ever since we have started to bring members to lesson they have connected so well with them, and we would never have guessed that they would be best friends after coming to the lessons. It is wonderful teaching them.

Our recent convert friend that was in the hospital last week, just got out. But he and his daughter still need a lot of prayers. So please pray for him to heal, and for her to be comforted at this time. They both mean a lot to me and I feel in pain when I see their pain.

Through the hard and the amazing I have felt the comfort of the Holy Ghost. I have felt the love of Christ. I have felt the words of My Heavenly Father. I have felt a lot this past we, and I know that we were meant to feel in this life. This is one of the gift that we have been given with our soul being united with our body. How Grateful I am towards God that I have my body, and that I have been given red hair:) There are blessing from a loving God all around us we just have to open them and see. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Love all of y'all, and I know this week will have a great moment even if there is a hard moment. Also would y'all be able to keep my Dog Groot in your Prayers. He is doing too good, but I know the beauty that comes through a prayer full of faith.
