6 days till Christmas! 🎁🎅🏼 December 19, 2022
Merry Christmas!
Hello all ye children of the Lord! This was another good week with a lot of service, and fun along the way. I'll probably have to ask my Comps a lot of what happened this week because I don't remember.
I love doing service around this time of year, ( also through out the year, but this time is special
). It was a huge blessing to do service this week, and to do so much of it. I think we had a service for every single day this week!

Tuesday- Food drive
Wednesday- Missionary service

Thursday- hang Christmas lights
Friday- organized a friend's garage
Saturday- clean out storage locker
Sunday- Gift wrapping

So I guess that we didn't have one everyday, but we we close. And Wednesday was just a regular day of Missionary work, but I guess I did put up up someone's Christmas tree
. Maybe I should change that.....

Most of this week was service and canceled lessons. Thankfully none of the service opportunities canceled. All of them were fun in their own way and allowed me to help others the way my Savior would even from doing the little things like putting up a Christmas tree, or the bigger things of cleaning out a storage locker. Though He would have done a better job than I did.
We did a lot of stopping by members and friends trying to see if anyone was home. One of our friends who we haven't met before open the door and was so happy to see us and was friendly. She said that she would love for us to come back another time. And she was even on the phone with someone and told him to say, "HI to my Mormon Brothers!" That was nice to meet them, and we are still working on setting up another time with her, but we will get one soon.
Most of the time when we visited members this week we would share a message of Christ birth.( tis the season) I have loved learning more about Christ's birth and how He truly is a gift. I feel that most of the time I learn something new when I am teaching and testifying by the spirit. I won't know what to say I just stare and the spirit gives me in the very moment that I need it. One message I ended up saying something along the lines of, "Christ is the whole reason for this holiday season and we have to remember and love Christ during this time of the year. His name is in the season, and if you take Christ out all you are left with is Mas." I knew that but I had never said that way before and it gave me so much more reason to study why He was Born and how I can be embraced in His loving arms.
We would even read in the Scriptures of Christ's birth, and when we would read I was loving it but when we read this verse I was was just felt the spirit so strongly.
Luke 2
7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
The moment this was read I had chills all over and knew it was the spirit testifying to me that it was true. I know that Christ was born of humble to save us all and I'm so grateful that He is a gift and is a Gift every single day. And I need Him every single day. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen!
More kilt pictures!
Also here are some pictures from several months ago that I now have.
And early Christmas presents from my Mom, and it still smells like Banana Bread. And yes it is all gone now.
Love y'all have a great day and a merry Christmas, remember only 6 more days!
