One Chilli to rules them all! October 24, 2022

 Hello Everyone!

This week has once again had ups and downs, but in the end we are up. I'll try and start from the beginning and see if I can remember from there, but y'all know how my memory is. When I'm talking to people and doing missionary work I feel my memory is pretty good, but as soon as I come to wrote about my week it all go blank. So if I make up somethings that didn't happen just know I blame my poor memory.

Last P-day:
We started off the day normal, when suddenly a dragon destroys our apartment complex. Elder White knew what we had to do. We got all dressed up, it only took us an hour, and we grabbed our copies of the Book of Mormon, and went to go face to Dragon. Turns our this Dragon had a large copy of a Bible, and we begin to bash this Dragon. Beams of light and truth flying everywhere, when we eventually turned to page 529. Then we read out loud and began to expound doctrine. When we fished the battle was won and our enemy became our friend and came to church this Sunday.

So hopefully you noticed that, what was described above didn't actually happen. Well what am I going to do with a bad memory.

Last P-day:
(This one is real)
We did our normal routine, when suddenly the unexpected happed. We went and got a hair cut. Yep. Now is see how I got mixed up earlier. Anyways, we got together as a Zone, and I actually knew quite a bit of people in the Zone. That might be because a lot of people from my last Zone came to the same zone as me when transfers happened. We played some sports stuffs and had a great time.

The very next day:
THE DRAGON! THE DRAGON! THE DRAGON!
( Anvil)
If you don't know the reference don't worry about it. No more Dragon though

We spend a lot of this week trying to figure our the area, and the people with in it. Most of the people we sadly weren't able to get in contact with them. Most of the people we were teaching were busy, but we hope to see them next week.

We were able to do some service for a member, and that was great. I have said I before and I'll say it again. I love doing service for other. We help move quite a bit of stuff and it was a blast. After that we quickly changed a ran to our dinner. We actually drove. But then we had an amazing member meal, Talking and having fun. At the end we shared a message as missionaries do. And we were seeking on how we can help them in their missionary efforts. They started just thinking about people that they can help and ways they can support others. I love seeing the Christ like Attributes. It was a great because this is what we try so hard to have members be missionaries and it is so rewarding when they do and we are able to help others.

We once again we had a lesson with our new member friend and we talked about the doctrine of Christ, and them from there we taught to many things. It was wonderful. Sadly they lost some their puppies, but even in that moment they were looking on the positive side of things. From that point we headed over the someone who said we could come over. So we headed over there and we talked to him for a bit and found out that he is married to a member, and has read the Book of Mormon before. And when we were talking to him he invited himself to read the Book of Mormon again. I was shocked, and I look forward to helping him know how he can know the Book of Mormon to be true, because it sounds like he has that desire. After that we helped him hang some pictures frames. In these frames there were puzzles of Disney movies. Asked him if he likes Disney because he had eight classic Disney films as puzzles in frames. He said he loves Disney, and that he worked with them before he retired. Once more love the service and helping others.

That very night we headed over to a our member meal that was more like a party. They had invited a lot of Friends, and asked us to be the judges for the Chili. That was great tasting all 16 Chili. All though there was clearly one that was best of all. It we had a good time talking to as many people as we could, and then we notice that one of our friends had texted and called us wanting to know directions to get to them part. We called her and tried to tell her how to use Google maps, but that didn't work. So we just told her some directions, but that also didn't work. We and the members spend a long time trying to figure out how to help her. Sadly we had to leave because we needed to be in our apartment at 9pm, and we stayed as long as we could before we asked the members to take over. Thankfully our friend was able to make it to the house and the member there were able to help comfort her and have a good time. I'm just glad that the members were friends with out friend before this night.

Sunday was great and some other great things happened, but if you have made it to this point in the email you are probably wondering how much more is there to the email. Answer, not much.

This week as a mission we have spent time think and expressing our gratefulness for the people in our lives. And I am grateful for each and everyone of you who is on this email. I don't have enough time in this email or in this life to express the amount impact that y'all have made on me. I know that God sends us down at this time in time with the people around us. Families are forever, and I know that to be true, and I'm so grateful for that truth. Only in eternity can I express all the love and gratitude that I have for y'all. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

The sun is very bright. Especially when you take a picture
