A bright week, with a Brighter future November 21, 2022

 Hello Everyone! 

This week was a lot better for many reasons! So let jump right in, but before I would like to day that I lost my voice again! Moving on now! 

The beginning of the week was great and something that I very much needed. We had interviews with President. These are 15 minutes long and I always wish they were longer, and this time it was. How much longer?, you might ask. We'll chat. It was wonderful getting to talk with him about what I have been going through and the entire time I felt love and support. He is just the best and almost brought to tears again, but I fought them back and told him that he always brings me to the verge of tears and we laughed about it. From there I felt re-energized and ready to finish the week strong. 

This week was better and I felt that I was able to rely on the enabling power of The Atonement of Jesus Christ. Anytime I felt overwhelmed and angry or any negative thought I would simply thing of these words, "The Atonement of Jesus Christ." Thinking of those words would raise my spirits and often leave me with a smile. When I thought of those words I would think about all Christ has done for me and I would feel joy and that I could do all things. That I could overcome what I was facing, and that I will.  

We also had the Mission tour with Elder Kearon of the Presidency of the Seventy, and his wife Sister Kearon. The Kearon's and the Harris's get along so well and often caused us to laugh while they were teaching the gospel. The Kearon's feel apart of the Mission family and that is because they are! Loved the entire time they were there, and I am amazed how funny they are. I wish they could join us every week, but sadly that is not the case. I learned a lot from them and as always I don't have enough time to tell you everything so here are some quick take aways.

Oh yeah, we also got transfer news! And things are happening.... Elder White and I are staying and we are going to be put in a trio. Elder Wallgren will be joining us! If that name sounds familiar than good memory, if not I'm deeply disappointed. He is a Elder that I know, and I'm exited to be comps with. This is going to be a good transfer. 

As we get closer to Christmas I have been thinking more about Christ's birth, and I am amazed by how much more the Silent Night means to me. I know that He was Born at a humble birth, and that He lives today for me, and for you too! I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
