Can I get one of those Blue books ? July 25, 2022

 Hello there! 

Greetings to all those that read this email! 

I hope it is everyone that is on the list. One more week passes by in the mission, and I am surprised that this week went by super fast. I think I said that in the last email but this one was even faster. With the week passing so quickly I can't really remember what happened other than good times and blessings. 

Last P-day we went bowling with the other Elders in the district. It was great first game I was great, and we won't talk about the second game. 

We stopped by the house where we are teaching the kids on the porch. (The ones that memorized the plan of salvation) We Taught one of them the steps we need to live by to live with God again. It was awesome and after we gave him the Pamphlet he asked if he could get one the those blue books too, (The Book of Mormon). Got to teach him what the Book of Mormon is and where is came from, and we has excited to read it. Keep in mind he is about 10. We came back on Sunday, and asked how his reading was going and he said that he loved how it talked about God. We asked him how much he has read, and he said that he was on page 81! I was so happy and both me and my comp were shocked. But wait there's more. 

The rest of his brothers came out and we gave them copies of the Book of Mormon as well and taught about Lehi vision of the tree of life. They loved it, and we also gave them copies of the kids version of the Book of Mormon, and they all downloaded the Gospel library app, and were looking to see what they can find on it. I'm so impressed with them and love that they are willing to learn. Christ was like when he said we needed to be like a Child to learn things. We still are trying to meet with their parents so we can teach everyone, and so we can help them progress further. Pray for their hearts to be softened so can feel God's love. 

There were some days where it was hard. No one wanted to talk to us or meet with us, but we kept going. We were in a neighborhood were people would come to the door to see who had knocked (it twas us) and they waved us away without talking to us. That was a little sad, but we kept going. We finished having dinner and we wanted  to do the most we could with the day we had left. We went to an apartment complex said a prayer and got to work. We talked to the first person we saw about the Plan of salvation and she wanted to learn more. We talked to a lot of great people that said that they would be interested in learning more. Which was awesome way to end the day, and to feel the spirit when we shared Eternal Truths. 

We also shared a lot of member messages which I always love. Because I love the members and the message we can share. When we talk with them I feel the spirit strongly and it warms my heart. One message that we have shared has touched my soul and even though I have seen it many times I love it and feel the spirit strongly every time. And because I love it I want you all the know why, so go and watch it and talk about it with others! It is called "The Last Testimonies" you can go to YouTube and look it up or on saints channel. Let me know what stood out to you and what you felt I would love to know.  

We have found a lot of people these weeks, which is awesome we just need them to respond and get back to us. That has always been a problem so when I figure out the secret I'll let y'all know. What else happened these week? The answer is so much more! More learning more experiences more growth, and I wish I could tell it all but I can't. You simply have to experience it for yourself. Follow you guidance that we receive from this past general conference and you will know what you have to do. The blessing that I have come to know as a missionary can and will be expressed where ever I go, but you will only come to know what I mean and what I feel when you do it yourself. 

I know that I have been born as Nephi of old to goodly parents who love the Lord. I have taught and I understand that must do as the Lord commands. I know that this is the great and marvelous work, there are blessings given to those that follow Christ's example of loving all round us, share the experience we have had. And inviting them to come and learn more. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
