*INSERT TITLE HERE* (May 23, 2022)

 Good Night everybody!

I thought I should say something other than hello or good morning, so I thought I would say the opposite. Don't worry I am not going to bed right now. It is still morning, I think.

Also couldn't think of a title....

Let's see if I can reach into my memory bank, and tell you all what happened this week.

Let's see here, memory 5/17/22 says that it was a good day. We had lunch with a sweet Sister in the Branch. She is awesome! We talked about how she has been inviting her friends to come to church. In the past she has told us that she hasn't been able to come to church because she takes medication that puts her to sleep but it doesn't wear off before she has to come to church. So it was unsafe for her to drive, but this Sunday we were surprised when she walked in. She was there in church! And she said that all she had to do was go to bed sooner with her medication then she could drive herself to church.

We also got to meet with Garrett again! We went able to meet with him last week but this week we could meet with him, and we did! We asked what he knew about the Plan of salvation, and he knew a lot. He basically taught most of it to us. It was awesome that he has put in the time to find out for himself what the truth of this life is. We taught him about how Jesus Christ came and felt the pains of every one that has lived and does live. That way He could known what we are going through and to help us through our trials. Jesus did it out of love for each an everyone of us.

On the day of Wednesday we had a meal with a couple that moved in the Branch a year ago. This was my first time meeting them because they have been on a cruise for their band. We didn't know anything about them other than they were in a band. We had an awesome time hearing their stories about Brother Litt playing in the band, and Sister Litt being a cop. Fun fact when you are getting tazed by a tazer it hurts a lot for 7 seconds and then you can keep moving after that. Don't ask me how I know that. Let me tell you. Sister Litt simply told us. We shared a spiritual Thought with them after dinner. We showed them the Video called The Music of the Gospel. Watch if you haven't it is a good one. The video talks about Native American culture and how they do Pow Wows, ( I think that's what it is called). It is a sacred ceremony where they dance and play music. It talked about how we need to know the dance steps, but we also need to be able to hear the music to feel the joy that comes from living the Gospel. After the video Brother Litt looked at me and asked what inspired me share it with them. Apparently Sister Litt is half Native American, and they got to go to a pow wow recently. She shared more how why they did did things they do and it was cool to learn. We had a great discussion about the video and how to apply it into our lives. Sister Litt had expressed gratitude because she has been trying to connect more with her ancestors and her family history. And what he showed her helped her in connecting her family traditions to the Gospel. That was an awesome experience about inspiring for me that I received from the Holy Ghost, and I hope that I was able to type it out well enough to show that.

Also Brother Litt's music is good. We only heard one song but from what we heard it was cool.

On the day that is known as Thursday we went on exchanges. I got to go down to Canton and spend the day with Elder McKinney. We were able to knock on a door and this lady, named Ashley answered the door while she was on a phone call, and we started to talk with her. She didn't seem too interested in what we were saying. While we were talking, some of her family pulled up and walked into the home, and Elder McKinney asked the person that we were talking to if any of them would like to hear our message. She went inside hung up on the phone and came out with her sister Autumn. We kept sharing our message with them and while we were sharing about Prophets and our Savior they both started to cry. We kept testifying of the love of the Savior and how He knows what they were going through. We shared a Book of Mormon with them and they said that they were going to read it. They shared how their life has been hard lately and have been reaching out to Christ for comfort. We just keep testifying how they would receive comfort and strength from reading the Book of Mormon.

That showed me just to keep going and testifying of truth even if they don't seem to care. You don't know what an impact it will make in their life. So just go for it!

We also had a member tell us that his wife wants to be Baptized and become a member. We got to meet with them and it was awesome, then they told us that they had been reading what we invited them to read in the Book of Mormon. I'm looking forward to teaching her more.

Sunday was awesome because it was Branch Conference, so the entire Stake Presidency were there! We joined them in a meeting with all the Presidencies in our branch to let them know how missionary work was going. Then our Branch President, and Stake President gave talks and they were awesome and filled with the spirit!

I know that Jesus Christ knows the pains and the sorrow that I have experienced. I know he has felt yours as well. I know that what he did was out of love so that we can have joy is this life and to be strong. He lifts us up when we have fallen down. I know because I have experienced it. Jesus Christ helps me always. All I have to do is ask Him for help and do want he asks and He will bless us beyond what we have received already. I say these things in the name of Jesus
Christ, amen.

Us traveling on someone's driveway, but you can't see that with the forest surrounding it.

Us going to a restaurant called southern charm, had a good pot pie, although it was weird because the crust was just two biscuits on top of the chicken.

The same family that I got to hold 5 puppies, but this time with 4 kittens.
