Why are you Biting me!?

 Hello Everyone, 

Hope that title didn't alarm you, and if it don't worry I still have all 9 of my...….. 10 of my fingers. We were at a members house having dinner when I went to go wash my hands and I feel this- something biting my ankle. It was their big guard dog, and the the way I responded was the title above. Don't ask me why I responded first with that it just happened. Don't worry though tis but a scratch, and a little  bruising. I'm fine now, yes everything is fine, we are fine. There is no need for reinforcements, how are you? (Hope I said the general quote, and hope that you got the quote) 

Man this week is hard to remember. I remember doing things and working hard but I'm pretty this week blurs together into one day. 

Hang in with me while I try and piece together what happened this week.  

So Monday was a thing, moving on.

Just kidding it was a cool P-day spending it with the other Elders. And my favorite part was when I got my copy of the Book of Mormon back from my companion. I gave it to him so he could paint it. Because he is an artist and I am not. It looks so good. He painted the Robertson Tartan. For those not Scottish, It is the pattern that is on just about everything. Including the best thing that a man could wear. I'm talking about a kilt. I'm glad to have this on my copy of the of the Book of Mormon because this is the one that I am going to use to teach people. I love this especially since we just listened to General Conference, and it reminds me of the talk given by Elder Gong. This makes it my on personal journey in this life while remember my ancestors, and my family. It bring me closer to them even though we are miles apart. 

We had another FHE night. If you forgot what that is, you get to look back and read one of my old weekly emails. This time we talked about what we liked about General conference. It was a place where I felt the spirit strongly had I loved being able to see how it has helped people in their lives. It also help gives me the chance to talk more about general conference to tell people the importance of having a modern day prophet. Which is pretty important. 

I spent a lot of driving this week. Which was awesome. There was this one day where we were going up down left right all over the mountain. I have yet to find a secret tunnel in the mountains. There was this one road that was my favorite. Surrounded by trees, wide road, no one else on the road. Slight downhill all on a bright day. It was a long road so I got drive on it for a while. There is beauty all around. 

So this week we have spent a lot of time getting people excited for Easter Sunday. Our stake has invited every Ward/Branch to invite 125 people to Easter Sunday, and have 25 people show up from those 125 invites. We have been invited people, members every one. We even made our own hand out flyers. In getting others excited I am getting more excited. 

So this weekly planning only took three hours instead of the day. I was very happy about that. And we went to IHOP because they had some deals and I had a gift card. Then went to a members house to rake some more leaves. Still only had one rake, so I used a broken broom for a while, when that didn't work I found something that was closer to a rake, and the old shovel. After we had dinner with them and meet the dog that I spoke of earlier. 

Thus the week that has ended t'was good! 

The more I go around trying to spread the word of Jesus Christ, I see the need for a modern day Prophet. This world is crazy and you can survive on your own, but that is not how we are supposed to live this life. We are to have joy, to thrive, and be with others. Don't live your life just by barely making it by, grow, excel, live to the fullest of your potential. God is there helping you to do this. He has called a Prophet, and so many people that are in your life so that you may be the best version of yourself while still being yourself. I know that Jesus Christ live! I know that this world will be hard and we knew that before this life, but we also knew that it would be worth it. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
