Chickens puppies and Emu
Hello there!
This week has been quite the Rollercoaster. The good thing is with the ups it helps make the downs better. Without the bad how do I know the good? The love of Jesus Christ helps me to get out of the bad so I can enjoy the good and help others to do the same.

We had an awesome p-day(preparation day for preparation and a bit of fun), last week were we went on a hike through a park. It was beautiful, and peaceful. While on the hike we found a couple of sticks and obviously we used them as lightsabers. Then we played to game that Joseph Smith played. Where to two sit on the ground putting their feet together and then hold the stick in the middle with their arms. Then they try pulling the other over to them. It was fun, and two elders ended breaking the stick. It was a long awesome hike where we crossed on a bridge that was made by an eagle scout. Fun memories, but makes me glad for all that helped me to become an Eagle Scout.

Love spending time with my district where I can have fun but also learn more about missionary work and how to bring others to Christ.
Down
This week we learned that a friend of ours had past away. He was a member who we took the Sacrament to every Sunday that we could. His name was Robin, and he was funny. We had a lot of good times talking about life, and crows. He enjoyed having conversations with us and he ended up recording our last conversation so he could animate it later. I even had a chance to talk to him about Animaniacs (They're Zany to the max). I love Robin to the short time that I knew him.
Up
I know this week I have been comforted because the plan of Salvation has been on my mind this week. For this I know that Robin is in a place where he is close to Jesus Christ, and out loving Heavenly Father. Knowing where I came from, and why I am here, and where I'll go after this life has brought me a comfort where the grave truly has no sting because of my Savior. I encourage everyone to remember the purpose of eternity, and to talk about it with some one else for greater knowledge and comfort.

5 week follow up! What spiritual experience, and so crazy that it has been five weeks in the field. Plus I got to see my old companion, miss you Elder Jensen. After that we got a new car! It is a 2022 Nissan Rouge and it still has the new car smell.
Down
I finally got to go up to Blue Ridge, which is a part of my area where I have not been before this week. While we were there we went to Downtown, and we had a Goal to talk to as many people as possible. This day was Saturday and it was beautiful weather which means there were crowds everywhere! We stayed to our goal and tried talking to everyone, and we did our best, and everyone rejected us. Most were to busy to talk. Some wouldn't even look at us. We only talked to one person that was friendly but didn't want to hear what we had to say.
Up
Even though part of Saturday was hard we pressed forward. We tried to visit someone who had been avoiding us. Where we meet this sweet lady named Bonnie who helped us get in contact with our "missing person". We ended setting up a lesson with our hard to reach friend. We went to go thank Bonnie for her help and then we taught her about the Restoration, and I was able to give her a Book of Mormon. First of many that will come. It was awesome meeting Bonnie and talking with her. We talked about how many animals she has; I think she has over 50 chickens a couple of cats and dog. I asked if she had any other animals. She said that she had an Emu! I didn't know you could just own an Emu, but apparently you can. So I got to see my first Emu.
This week has been another time for spiritual experience and I love it so much. I know that when we can't go on, we can rely on our Savior because of His love for us. I have felt of that love and know that it is powerful. The whole reason we are here is out of love. Let us love one another by letting them know of the infinite love for them that God, and Jesus Christ has for them and we will know of their love too. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ amen.
Also I'm giving everyone an invite to read Alma 26 and find how fear separates us form God.
