WOW! I know that I haven't been in the MTC for a full week but I'm amazed with everything that has happened this week. I started out being nervous and anxious at the same time, but I learned to listen to the spirit and let my fears be taken from me. I love my district and even though we haven't met in person yet, I feel a connection that doesn't make sense. As one of my fellow Elders put it, "It is impossible for a group of strangers to feel this much love for each other in only two day. It is only through the Savior that it is possible." He said something along those lines, and I agree. I thank my Savior once more because of all that He has done for me. Even though I haven't met My Companion in person, I was glad to have the chance to get to know Elder Jensen first. And from what I have learned is that we are going to get along very well. I can't wait to arrive in Provo to see my district and to shake my companion's hand, and to have that famous MTC chocolate milk as I learn to spread His work to the people of Georgia Atlanta.

It's crazy to see how much I have already changed in a week. I never was good at studying. I never got anything out of it and thought it was a waste of time. But as I took a look at myself I knew that I needed to throw myself 100% in The Lord's work. And so did what I never could. I studied, and I kept going and I listened to the Holy Ghost voice telling me to write something down or to ponder a little more before I moved on. Less than a week, and all it took was pushing myself and opening my soul to The Lord. Now I still have quite some time to go before I'm as perfect as my red hair, but I'm on my way.

I know that this gospel is true and that Joseph Smith was called as a Prophet of God in this last dispensation. I know that my Savior lives and I am here today because of all that he has done for me. I feel his love the more I learn about him, and how much He needs me to share what I have learned and to bring His children to the truth of this day. The Savior gives me strength to do his will. I say these things in the name of my Savior Jesus Christ Amen.

This is my district over Zoom, I'll have a picture in person when I can.
